Top dash
Does anyone know how to take that top dash area off?
Mine is cracked, and 1 or 2 other times when i took apart that whole front area i was wanting to get it off for various reasons but couldnt just take it off.

maybe those tabs in the back, well technically the front, you know what kind of tabs im talking about im sure...I mean, i would just investigate to my fullest extent, pull as hard as possible and see where its held up, and see whats holding it there. If that doesnt work BFH time

That leading edge is screwed in from behind to the main dash trim part. if you look way at the bottom of the cowl roughly above the steering coloumn there is a phillips screw or two down there as well and I think one above the glove box area. Once you get them all out you need to heave up and back firmly to "pop" the dash out of the plastic clips at the base of the window.
ps you'll know you have all the screws out when you can sort of lift and wiggle the dash up and down freely... then is the time to tug it out.
when you want to put it back in you need to make sure all the black plastic clips are in the dash part not the window frame base... some times they come out of the dash and it is easier to put back if the clip pins are in the dash part.

Thanks. Should be able to hopefully figure it out now.....
I think i got to that point once. Had it wiggling a little bit, but seemed like it wouldnt come out and didnt want to just yank on it and break something....
