sway bar broken :D

i went down a unknown trail going pretty slow and i;ll be damned if i didn't end up going off a run off ( it was like one of those end of the the world scenes where the people fell off of the earth into a deep pit) well i went with it still turning my tires as i was falling in hopes of hitting bottom and climbing out

i hear ya i dont even have a camera with me when i go driving only here at home ing batt's never last long enough anyways . i hit bottom and got hung up on a buncha rock/fallen tree's (sway bar caughtem) now i've gotten a bent bar and missing 2 bolts 1 on each side. so i took it off threw it behind the seat and keep going.

no sway bar= ride like at least i feels that way in my 89 kinda like it's bouncing side to side

any of this normal (chances are i'll leave it off anyways)

removed my swaybar.....don't notice any difference at all (92 4x4 truck)......takes curves like it did, goes staright.

you may have other issues ,but i don't think your absent swaybar is causing what you describe

Your sway bar helps control "sway" in your suspension.

If your steering is crappy, you broke something there too.

i sprayed everything down although i couldn't get all the gunk and chunks off there weren't any signs of damage. loose bolts nuts parts that move that shouldn't. front tires are fine as far as rotation no knots nothing only 2 issues are bent to hell shocks and a super leaky ass ps the rest of the steering box and gears are fine (it's like it just damaged a seal) so i took the gear box off and replaced the gasket. everything rides better minus the *messed* up shocks it also seems i'll have to replace my stabilizer (21 years worth of service)
