I got so carried away on this SA I kinda forgot the last time I tuned up the truck! I know it is under 5000 miles since the last time. So, today I did. This was quite a suprise- Cap and rotor (dealer) $48.00. 4 quarts Castrol 10w 30 $18.00. Jenky oil filter (car quest) they were out of KN $6.00. Air filter and NKG plugs $22.00.
Lord have mercy!
I know its been a awhile but thats like almost TWICE the cost as the last time I did it.
I just replaced the plug wires over the summer. I wonder how much those have gone up

From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.

I get lifetime on plugwires through AutohChevy, so I never have to pay for those, brakes and rotors are the same way.

IMHO the plug wires along with the cap a rotor should be Toyota. I have read a few in depth articles on the subject.
It is unfortunate they are so damn expensive from the dealer.

No problem, your note helped a lot!
My welds are pretty embarrassing but here are a few and other axle parts primered and clean and waiting to be put back together.
If anyone in SAS land needs the dust shields below they are yours you pay shipping. They are even cleaned and primered with zinc primer

SA parts cleaned up and ready to paint

Shock mounts welded on the inside (just in case lol)

I dont have the dust covers anymore.. Someone got em .. sorry

I would totally borrow it to you but I borrowed it
I painted a friend of mines Porsche who is an x Toyota mechanic and has a decent welder and we kinda traded my work for his work (knowledge) and the use of his welder for whatever. Damn that was a long ass run on sentence
You could come to Utah in the summer and use mine. hahah I have one there!

I think you're gonna mess up that nice paint when you weld on the driver's side spring pad
