So im stumped v6 toyota
So i just bought a 1992 toyota pickup v6 3.0 5 spd 4x4 its a nice little truck. So here is the story the guy let it sit for about a year he then started driving it and it would run really ruff when he was driving it. he would have to play with the thottle to get it to idle right. it would die and start back up so he would only use it around town a few blocks here and there.. so now i come along O.o I look it over here it run and idle for 5 minutes at the time he said it would idle all day.. you start to drive it and it runs ruff. ok so lets go around the block.. start out we go i put it in 4x4 wake sure it goes in test low it goes in back to 2wd and start to go. here comes the problem.. boom dies wont start back up . let it sit a few mins nothing.. well we push it to side of road and i get it for 1k. i figured minor problem with brand new 31 inch grabbers on it even a spare would be worth it.... So now im trying to fix it my first thought was old gas.. bad filter.. man was that stuff garbage filter rotted all fuel lines bad. so i replaced it with nice new injection line and a new metal filter. drained the gas it was gross 5 gallons of new gas and a can of sea foam let the pump run till i get that nice good gas out hook it all up not running hmmmm... so ipl out the starting fluid i get it going wont idle wont idle wont idle play with the throttle get it aboved idle it runs as long as im above idle 1300 rpms thought maybe there was just still some watery gas in there... so try to let it idle nothing it dies.. so now i pull out the god old jumper wire check the codes and get code 14........ so its runing late at this time quick run to advance new ignitor coil a quick plug in and nothing so now im checking grounds and volts here and there and everythingseems to check out i havent tried useing the starting fluid again as it took half a can and i dont like doing that to the engine ive cracked the line on the passenger side of the intake manifold to check for fuel and got ful spraying everywhere. So any ideas would be great let me know what you think all the help will be greatly appreciated as ill be trying to fix all day today and maybe tommorrow. ill keep updateing as i can thanks a bunch everyone

Are you getting spark? Unfortunately ignitors on Toyota's can't be tested according to the fsm, they are replaced if everything else checks out. Also check the ignition coil/ignitor ground, if your inner fender has rusted where they mount you may have a bad ground.

pressure should be about 40 psi. attach pressure gauge. Turn key to ON, jumper the wires, and look at static pressure and then running pressure.
Edit: I re-read your post, seems you already know how to jumper the diagnostic block. I think your code 14 could be the culprit. here is a thread with guys having the same issue.

You can also jumper terminals fp and +b in the diagnostic connector this will make the fuel pump run constantly. If the truck runs like this you have an electrical issue and the pump is not being powered for some reason.

This includes the ignition coil, the igniter, the distributor, and all the wiring in between. So it will be hard to fix with "O'Reilly baseball" (throwing parts at it). Get your voltmeter out and follow the FSM. That will do it.
