Random mis fire and loss of power

Hi guys new here kinda I'm usually in the jeep cj forum now but I have a question my parents have a 94 4runner that has a rebuilt motor in it. I'm thinking about trying to buy it from them but it has a random misfire and it's really random. I can start it first thing in the morning and it will mis fire really bad and sputter a bunch and it'll do it the whole drive untill I shut it off and let it sit for small period of time then it'll fire up and run like a champ and have all the power it should I'm stumped any clue or ideas on what it'd be iv never worked on newer cars iv only worked on my jeep here's a pic of the jeep

I am not a 3slow guy but i have see where the ignitor box needs a good ground to the body. Pull the box off the fender and sand the mounting points.

Yuk...the horrid fade and peel prone red.
But on the other hand it was cheap. Hopefully fixing the vac leaks and sanding the ignitor earth mounts will help. Jeep us informed on the issue

Yeah it's more of a maroon color and that paint is in really good shape just a few scratches no rust or peeling I cleaned out all the mold yesterday. I'm hoping to have time to work on it this weekend and wash it real good it's nice to know some ones watching my thread haha
