R150f to RFIA case?

Suppose I took a rig with a 22re and was looking to put in a donor 5vzfe with the R150F transmission from a taco. With this tranny bolt up to my stock gear driven case? Have not been able to find the answer, thanks!

No, it wont just bolt up. You can get an adapter from marlin to go from the r150 to the gear drive t-case.

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160...z-swap-126413/

This is what I used on mine

http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/tra...e/taco_box.htm

"34-4GT -> 3.4L Auto or Manual Trans to 4-cyl Gear Drive T/case"

You will also need to convert your t-case to a 23 spline input

X2 on jasond's post.

Or you can get the chaindrive case that goes with the tranny, and sell your geardrive.

Around here, geardrive cases go for about $175 from a junkyard.

However, if you get the chaindrive case that goes behind the 5VZ, it will have a drivers side drop, where his 22RE equipped truck has a pass side drop.
