Just wanted to say thanks for threads like these! Wish my pickup looked half as good as most of the other contributions in this thread, but I just got it roughly 2 months ago so it's nice to have all the inspiration for the things I wanna do to it.
That was right after I bought the truck. I just put on a new valance since that banged up gunmetal one was such an eyesore! ha
Next up is choosing a nice set of aftermarket wheels and tires to go with them. I like the look of 31"x10.5" tires on 15's for these trucks but I can't help but think that an equivalently sized 16" tire (with obviously 16" wheels) would look just a hair better. I particularly love the look of these trucks at stock height, and I've assumed mine is all stock suspension but it does seem to either sit higher in the front or lower in the rear because it's kinda squatting all the time -- even with nothing in the bed. Any thoughts on this?
Starting with my last Chevy which I wore out before getting my first Toyota.
My old boss standing next to the S-10 I'd owned for one month. I was a sleeping passenger until we started the first of five rolls. Driver broke his back. My injuries were relatively minor.
Silver Peak Mountain range in Nevada. This is a work photo!
Jumping Jack camp trailer and Yamaha Grizzly in tow. That dog watches my back like a hired bodyguard

Judging by your pictures my guess is that the front torsion bara have been cranked slightly up. You could relax them down to lower the front.
Hey guys just bought this 1991 4Runner 3.0 4x4 Auto!
Some pretty bad surface rust has been painted over but the frame all looks solid so I am not too concerned about it. 31x10.5r15 tires on it!
Already ordered a cat back exhaust, headlights, and a new stereo for it. Next check should be a roof rack or front bumper not too sure yet. If only I had a shop or garage! Pain in the ass to do repairs in constant -20c until summer!
Planning on just keep fixing and upgrading the truck until there is something I can not do!
Been a while since i posted on this thread. Here is a pic from my birthday weekend last month from Dec 11- Dec 13 at Big Bear Ca. We had a blast snow boarding at Snow Summit at staying at this small warm cottage for the weekend. Although there wasn't any off-roading or rock crawling it was still fun trying to drive in the streets without chains and just having 4x4 and lockers for the first time lol

Man that thing is BAWSE! Would love to go snowboarding out west again, although it's been 2 years so actually I'd take any slope time I could get since Alabama won't be allowing me to get my fix anytime soon haha. Maybe now that I've got this 4x4 Xtracab pickup, a cheap trip is in order since 4 cylinder MPG's should bring the traveling costs down compared to using my friend's v8 Suburban or renting a little sedan.

Your rear springs could also be sagging.
Thanks for the insight man! I've downloaded the factory service manual for these trucks and I've referenced it for a couple of things but was kinda confused about how to deal with adjusting the ride height with the torsion bars and didn't want to wing it and risk screwing something up without having some idea on what to do/not to do.
Is there a specific clocking position of the torsion bars from the factory that can be repeated? Don't know if certain splines are marked or something, or if it really doesn't matter so I should just uncrank them a bit till I get the lower height that I believe it came with stock, then just make sure they're even between left and right sides then it's good to go...?
Some kids hit me head on. Truck was in good shape and the insurance only wants to give me 1700 for replacing it. Could I get any help to help highlight the value of this truck?
