Original condition 1992 Pickup with 3112 kms (1865 miles)
This truck was for sale in my area, was parked in a garage for 22 years. Started once a month and obviously never off road. Originally bought in BC, this truck was shipped to Saskatoon, then bought sight unseen by a Toyota dealer in Calgary to use for promotions. Headgasket was just redone at the Toyota dealership. This truck hasn't even been to the gas station 7 times in its life. They wouldn't let me test drive. The front passenger mud flap was damaged during shipping, that was the only flaw I could see. Was listed for $16000 and I was told the guy paid a few thousand more. I couldn't believe it when I saw the ad and had to check it out for myself.

 

Lord I have been to a gas station 966 times. Ach Du Lieber.

 

One of these things is not not like the others, one of these is a Toyota.
Yes That is my Toyota. All stock with 31's. Everyone was surprised it got that high.

Went to an off road 4x4 meet and greet, and as I figured I was the only non Jeep. But I meet a lot of cool guys. Not all Jeep people are bad.
Was also supposed to be a Land Cruiser too but he never showed.




This guy had ditch witch tires. He beat me to them on CL.

Hello boys. I'm baaaaack!! After nearly 3 years of remission, my condition has returned. In the form of an 89 4 banger.

 

Welcome back Badger. Don't worry any, it's incurable.
Good looking rig too.

 

So I've had her for a day now... I had forgotten how much of a love-hate relationship these things are. Already I've nearly strangled myself with the rear wiring harness.

 

I just did the same thing Badger. But I haven't been in remission. I have full on Toyota-itis. Here is my new old 95 4Runner. It has 3.0 auto , but it has lockers and 35's. Going to get somee 33's on 15's, Sliders, and a bumper. Worked on the spare tire carrier and back seats. Will post pics when I'm done. Here's some from this morning.

22re 268 cam over sized valves and springs. 3 angle valve job. 7k miles on build need exhaust done still,.

Well there new to me stock 3rd gen 4runner wheels I primed black 265 70 16 rubber new. These will do the job till I get money to wrap 33 or 35 over my mags. A give me time to shine them up real good. Next step is solid axle... Right after I find some work i Eugene
