hi all, ive searched and searched an found responses that lead to pictures and answers to questions from other members, but nothing has helped me with my specific question.

aside from hooking up the vac lines the way it has been done in post #260 (pic 3) i have seen many other photos of the the vac line that exits ontop of the timing cover, just looped straight back into the new inake pipe...but i cannot find any info on what is supposed to happen with all the lines down to the left of the intake near the a/c idle control that will remain 'open', once that vac line is removed? and photos any info would be greatly appreciated.

im assuming that they cannot just be plugged?

also, has anyone had success using one of the cheap ebay kits? or was the length and bend not quiet right? it does say (fits 4 runner) but it also has a listing of vehicles that it 'fits' long enough to make me think its just universal.

Heres my isr mod all done. Cost me about $20-$30 dollars in parts from the local hardware.

2x 45degree 75mm pvc bends (1x m/f, 1x f/f)
1x 1m lenth of 75mm pvc tube
2x 65mm flexible rubber couplings from the same plumbing section.
1x straight 13mm x 10mm push in barb type fitting from the retic section.
1x 90degree 13mm x 10mm push in barb type fitting from the retic section.
1x 1m length of 1/2" vac hose
4x hose clamps to suit the vac hose.

The 65mm couplings did stretch over the 75mm pipe easily enough (probably didnt need hose clamps on them lol) drill 1 9mm hole in each of the couplings for the 10mm barb fittings to take the new vac lines (9mm hole for a 10mm fitting so its schneizen tight)
Allign the 45degree bends to how u want them, cut the straight tube to the required length (about 7" for the top pipe and 9" for the bottom pipe worked out well for my rhd 4runner)
glue it all together, paint it, run the new vac line and hey presto! Extra noise.
