Never would I steel someones ride. Like a horse thief in the old days; get a rope. Or make them make it right anyway.
My nephew got his car stolen while he was working a few weeks ago. They caught the thief. She drove the car and blew the engine (new rebuild), pulled over to the side of the road and they found her asleep in the front seat.
He's fighting with the insurance company to get the value of a new engine.

I just got 21 around town on my last tank after new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter and valve adjustment. But mine is a 4WD, so I bet a 2WD 22RE could get close to 30 on the highway, who knows.

Hey on my 94' is there a low fuel light that should come on at like 2 gallons remaining? I ran mine just below the E and no light ever came on...topped off at just over 12 gallons {26 mpg combined}...so I must have a 14.2 gal tank.

In the 2 years of owning mine I've never seen a low fuel light, just figured it was broken, the most I've ever put in is 14 galllons or so, can't remember ever getting to 15.

Stock setup/ Cooper Discoverer M+S 265/70/16
Here's my commute:
Burbs to the city 27 miles one way 5 days a week (average speed 26mph)
68mph CC on highway (approximately 14 miles)
Consistently getting in the 19's (mpg)
Not too shabby!

94 2wd Auto reg cab 26.92 mpg on the highway 24.83 city. Mileage kept track since the year 2000 when i bought it with 19,000 Miles. Back then Regular Gas was 89 cents a gal, 93 octane was 99 cents. I ran high test the first 5 years i had it and used to get over 30 mpg with the higher octane.
Gas is way to high now... I usually drive 10 MPH under the speed limit when its 65 and over. So if the limit is 65 i usually go 55.

Just filled up this morning... And she was thirsty.......
Total miles: 348.7
Average Speed: 39.5 mph
Average Moving Speed: 45.2 mph
Max Speed: 81.6 mph (hehe)
Moving Time: 7 hr 42 min
Stopped Time: 1 hr 7 min
17 gallon tank. Took 16.849 gallons. Yikes.
My commute is about 60 mi round trip with most of the speeds at 70, multiple stop lights, little stretch at 45 with many lights I always hit on red. Riding on 265/75/16s with a horrible noise from the rear end or tranny that started 2 weeks ago.

since May 5th my avg mpg is 17.0. highest mpg was 18 and lowest 15.6
i feel this is kind of low for a rebuilt motor, i shift anywhere from 2800-3500 rpm normally and about 4700 if i pull out into traffic (which isnt very often haha) my tires are at 35 psi each and i check them monthly for consistency, i also use a fuel additive call FuelWize which on my other vehicles resulted in a 10-16% increase in MPG.
theres only 7000 miles on the rebuilt motor...but is this avg mpg too low? or is that average for a 3.0. sig has truck set up...
