I have an '85 4Runner and my window stopped working from the passenger door only. Driver door can put it up or down. I replaced the switch and made sure the connections work.

What is the solution here???

On my '94, there is a switch in the driver's side to "lock" the switch on the passenger side (so it won't work). Make sure that switch (if you have it) is in the right position.

Otherwise, you need to work with a multimeter. Technically, that's the only way to "make sure the connections work."

You checked the old switch and that had failed ??

checked the new switch that it worked like it should ??
