not sure if i have lockers

How do you tell if you have lockers?

Im just wondering cuz i was cruising without a radio on the other day (very rare for me) and i noticed that my tires squeal a lot when I make tight turns. Is this just normal for a 2wd or do I have lockers.

Sorry for no pics, but the camera is chargin atm.

What do you look for?

The easiest way to tell if you have a locker is to jack up the rear tires and spin them. If they both spin in the same direction you have a locker if one goes forward and one goes backward you have an open diff. It's harder to tell if you have a limited slip because this will act as an open diff except when one tire is slipping then it will lock. To see if you have a limited slip you would have to take out the third member and take a peek.

Ummm, Just jack up the rear pumpkin, tranny in neutral, and E brake off, of course with something blocking the FRONT tires. And spin away...

With a 22re, yes.

With a s/c'd 3.4, no

You don't have a locker... you'd know if you did. You might have an LSD, but if you did, I would think the previous owner would have told you it was the LSD was better than Cameron Diaz and Uma Thurman together in a bathtub with lots of jelly.
