On the firewall, kinda hard to miss should be the only one up there. Connects between the engine and heatercore, has a little cable running to it from the climate control inside the cabin.

Consult the Book!

Well just put a new radiator in and coolant hose. Here is a small leak back by firewall, but it doesn't leak inside. So it can't be the heater core, could it be the heater core?

Note the small bell-crank at the bottom of the valve; it moves with the temperature control (and if disconnected, doesn't move.)
