New block or use old one?

So I purchased a 94 pickup (finally) a year ago. Got a good deal had a LC motor.
Well I was slightly taken... I (my girlfriend) blew a head gasket. Pulled head and #1 piston was missing a 3/4 inch piece. I had a mech buddy look at it and he said that happened way before head gasket.
I put new LC pistons/rings in but had to hone #1 cylinder to get rid of gouges.
Now #1 has out of limits piston wobble.
Head was pressure tested good but the guy said the valves were sitting a little weird... IDK. Cylinder head depot South Fl. Good guys.
Truck smokes like a toothless hooker. Spark plugs foul every 100 miles.

So here's my real question...

Should I keep throwing money at this...

Buy a short block and use the head I have?

Or should I get a new block/head. But im gonna have it bored with a cam installed if I go this way.

Yeah it sucks. This is my winter truck and winter is about here. Im thinking im gonna pull the motor since my cylinder block is the culprit and rebuild this winter.
Dont think im gonna go thru LC engineering again tho.

All 4 plugs foul... Does anyone think my valve seals are bad? I dont remember if they put new ones in when the re-did the head. Maybe Im getting oil leakage down to my cylinders?

you have bad stem seals and possible guides.my truck block have so much clearance after cutting the ridge that a old mercedes diesel engine is quieter than my 22rte and no spark fouls or smoke, only lot of blowby under boost.

Find a donor truck and take the engine. Stop throwing good money after bad.
