Damn, 7 month wait. I think I had about a 3 month wait. It's worth it though, one of the best decisions I made for the truck...well along with the fiberglass bed.

Okay...I went to the 22re Performance site and it is, by far, the best site I have visited in my car experience. It is clear and straight talk.
By the postings I've seen here...if you can afford these engines, then this is the way to go.
Thanks snobdds for starting this post.

Changed the break in oil at around 400, and put in Castrol GTX 10W-30. about 500 miles on engine now.
Engine sounds great. Im going to try and see if I can do a youtube clip here in the next couple weeks...hopefully the sound comes through

Griswald, looks like you rebuilt your engine yourself, not 22re Performance, correct?

Looks like a great set-up, regardless.

I did not rebuild my engine myself. I purchased it from 22RE performance. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/classi...stage-2-a.html
Let me know if you have any questions otherwise. thanks.
