Just curious are you the type that runs around with the fuel tank level around 1/8 to empty all the time.
I have a few Toyota vehicles that very seldom if ever I let the tank go much below half..
I never had any issues with pumps.
Just what kind of failures ??
If they all failed within that short period most fuel pumps are warrantied for a year.
Interesting

I hope you've been replacing the filter sock too... fuel pump warranties are usually void if you don't replace the sock... also if the high pressure filter isn't replaced, it too can cause problems

Yea filter has been replaced two time the truck rarely goes below half a tank and the sock is replaced every time and yes their under warrenty but it becomes a PITA to drop the tank once a month and to have the truck leave you stranded

Check voltage at the pump. If low, that could cause problems. Should be close to same as at battery posts, I think.
Do you use any fuel additives?
Are you sure your fuel pumps are actually bad, and not some other problem like bad pressure regulator, circuit opening relay, fuel pump switch in air meter, or wiring?

is the COR bypassed? is the pump staying on all the time? any kinks in the hardlines? Is the vehicle running rich or lean? Pumps rarely go out by them selves. Something is causing them to fail. I know that clogged fuel filters are usually the biggest culprit. Pull the filter and try blowing through it in the direction it should flow. Is it easy to blow or no? When you pull the failed pumps, can you hot wire them and get them spinning by tapping on them? maybe they suck in debris? Maybe your charcoal canister is failing and sending its guts to the tank? Good luck!

Vance! What ever happened with this vehicle? I have the same issue with my mini cooper and the last mechanic just gave up on it! Only problem is mine is actually worse! My car only lasts a day or two before killing the fuel pump and I've been through 5!! I am hoping you can shed some light!!
