Motor smothering down

I don't really know how to explain this, may be why i couldn't find anything in the search but my truck 92 22RE runs fine at idle but sometime not all time when i'm taking off kinda fast after i shift from 1st to 2nd and push the gas it seems like the moror will bog down. I can let up off the petal and it will speed up.. Does not do it everytime but will do a couple times everyday.. Any ideas?... no check engine light, 28-30 mpg

I wonder if you have a TPS going bad...not sensing the correct throttle setting & going haywire for a second....

If it only does it when it's cold, I'd bet your cold start injector is going bad.

I'm curious about this as well. My '92 has the same symptoms, hot or cold.

i have brought my truck to a stealership they told me leaky injectors and that it needed a tune up. the cap plugs wires and rotor have less than 30k on them and everything is ome so even the dealer is unsure of the problem

i Will find the problem

my latest thought is the fuel pressure regulator. i don't have a pressure gage but i am going to try to track one down this weekend. the resining i have for this if it is stuck the pressure may be to high and there for dump added fuel into the cylinders flooding it

I have a similar problem when it is cold in the morning also get a stumble when it is raining out or high humidity right after it rained I was thinking it might be my MAF.
I have new cap, rotor and wires & plugs and it is still running funny

my fuel filter is about 2 weeks old so it's not that and my original was fine but you only can tell after you take it off
