My gawd. take them off when not in use! They aren't free and very easy to steal.

does the marlin rear bumper for the 1st gen 4runners mount inside or outside of the frame?? can someone post pics of the underside mounts....thanks

I've been trying for some time to find out if these rear bumpers will fit a 4 Runner WITH the swing out tire carrier??? Anyone know - MC's e-mail is down too.

A little late in noticing this post. For future reference, however, here are some pics.

From the outside. Added a weld at the end of the frame rail to prevent any slopping from banging, er, uh, sliding the bumper on rocks.



From the inside of the frame:


Another one from the inside. Note the scuff marks from the Smittybilt that I used to have slopping around when it was "slid" on the rocks.

Not to mention they will rust and bind up making it a pain to use them when u need them....
