what company do you guys perfer for a long travel suspension for a 93 4runner??? and one that one kill my wallet

Any long travel IFS suspension is going to kill your wallet.

Downey makes good products, as to Total Chaos fab

well i no its gonna kill my wallet but im not trying to get the most expensive one out you no??

and i have heard nothing but good things about downey and am really look into that

ok i was looking at the downey and that is about 13 inches of travel..
is that lt??

what do you guys consider long travel??

i dont want anything really huge cuz im not gonna be doing and big trail but i am gonna be doing some..

anybody have action shots with downey suspension??

i kinda want it to take it out in the sand and jump small jumps nothing big.. is 13 inches enough??

Stock your lookin at 6.5...if your lucky and have the clearance for that with whatever size tires your running...

Yes, 13 inches is deff long travel.

When I was on my SAS whim I compared the numbers of an SAS Vs. LT.
With upgraded axle shafts which arent necessarily necessary The SAS was 200 bucks more IIRC

So yeah, your basically dead on with that

I can't deny that, i've only ever driven a solid axle truck, never a long travel. You are almost certainly right, but its still going to break the bank which is what the OP wanted to avoid.

well i was looking at downey and its somewhere between 3 to 4000 for 13 inches of travel.. if i ran 33s with that suspension will that be enough travel for an o say medium size jump nothing really big

beat me to it. God, that looks like a flying elephant to me. Thats a solid axle truck, not IFS long travel.
