Loc-rite Lockers (help)

Im getting ready to install my locker in the rear of 90 4-runner. Im looking for any tips. Also need torque spec on all the bolts my manual doesnt have them can any one help!!!!!!

There's an FSM at the top of the section, should have torque specs in it..

just follow your install manual and check out gearinstalls.com

The loc-rite kit didnt come with a tee to replace the spider gears is that something I order different from the kit?

You re-use the cross that the spidergears run on.

4cy or v6? They are very different in terms of the lockright..

Okay I see now just making sure I have all my bell and wistles in order before I take it apart. Did you use oem gear fluid or do you recommend something heavier.

use something in the ballpark of 90W-120... the thicker gear oil helps to quiet and smooth out the locker as its working...
