Just another rattle-can paint job
paint:
duplicolor metal flake black and metal flake silver (from wal-mart)
method:
entire vehicle with black first.
then 5 rows of 3 inch wide masking tape across the hood and fenders.
traced flame design onto masking tape and cut out with an xacto knife or razor.
masked off the rest of the vehicle and sprayed the silver.
viola! total cost: ~$30 (including all prep supplies)
not the best pic, ill take more tomorrow when its light out if anyone wants them.

pretty cool, I took the center caps off the back and front wheels and painted the center with gloss black.. now my aisin hubs match the back. just about got sick doing it though, even with the garage door open. did you use a mask or anything while painting?

if i were to clear coat it, it would definitely shine. right now though, from a distance, it looks like a satin finish, and up close you can definitely see the metal flakes. im hesitant to clear coat it because one of the reasons i did the paint job with rattle can is because its easy to touch up when scratched.

In the for sale section there is somebody trying to trade a bronco for a tacoma. He had used Durabak liner in a white on white scheme that i thought was VERY well done! When my truck gets older and i dont care about the paint anymore, i might try something like you have done or that bronco.
