Maybe I bent the rules a lil, or maybe the seat is just facing the wrong direction from the steering tires? Who knows my friend, who knows... lol

I was gonna call for until I saw that it was a Toyota...

And also, I think that would count as IRS (independent...ish rear suspension)

I agree with Chef: my previous Toyota pickup and now my 4Runner both had the front sway bars removed, and I didn't notice much difference in handling at all. I also didn't notice much difference in flexibility either.....

I'll third that. I'll also share my tip: I just unbolt the sway bar link from one LCA, fold it up against the bar itself and hold it there with a zip tie. Then when I'm done wheeling I just cut the tie and bolt it back on before I get back on the road. Ghetto disco.

never removed my sway bar, but I deff felt a difference when i swapped out the chewed up/missing end-links for the new synthetic ones. it tightened up on turns, didn't wheel it prior to the repair tho because it was the first thing I fixed when I bought my truck

down side is it makes the rest of my "slightly" worn out bushings look like they're 10000yrs old haha

Interesting, I'm 99.9% sure my sway bar is different from yours. Mine has the bolt holes in a vertical position, I think, but I don't have the truck with me right now.

that's just the end links, it attaches to the frame by bushing and goes under my front drive line, they might seem different due to the lift kit I have. also darlin, those bolts are vertical

Ya, I'm talking about the end links. My bolts that hold the end link are horizontal, flipped 90* from yours. Do I come off as a woman by the way?

hahaha that just made my day! Here mine uses a style like this with the flexy joint: http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/...FWFT4godiCoAyw

Anyway I just hadn't seen the straight vertical links before. Back to IFS FLEX!
