Holy PHX-PROPER! Lol. .... I spent tons of time there when in college in 97-2000,.... loved going there, Saguaro Lake, Salt River parties....., always had fun out there. We "wheeled" at the time in our Cressida. Hahaha.

haha thanks? pretty sure I sense sarcasm lol. Bruno is just my last name. I intended the name to be misleading because I find that men and boys, (mostly boys trying to impress me) when I suggest helpful tips about vehicles don't take me seriously since I'm a girl. I'm not saying ALL guys, just it seems to be more than 50%, that don't want to listen to a girl since they of course know WAY more than me which there's plenty I don't know

I hit up Butcher Jones yesterday, it was awsome - except for the 1st cove, the water was skanky because there were a bunch of boats and jet-skis in the sturring up the bottom - but the other coves were beautiful.

You got a purty truck but seriously. . . Have you used the winch yet?

 

Thanks, man! Yeah, I used it for the first time on this trip, actually. I took a bad line up a steep wall, a bit on purpose, and got hung up good on the fuel tank. I wrapped the winch cable around a tree about 80 feet away and pulled it up with no drama. I did ruin my jacket though, since I didn't have gloves and used the jacket to guide the cable while re-spooling. (I'm getting gloves before I go out again.)

I'd been wanting to try it out in a controlled spot (I've never used a winch before) instead of trying to learn in a dangerous situation where I really needed it, so I'm very glad I was showing off too much and got stuck.
