IFS Flex Pics
#1442
Another definition is a rig which is IFS, flexing. Rear flex is still important, and while I know that getting leaf springs to flex isn't groundbreaking, it's still relevant. It doesn't need to be a close-up of the front control arms to be IFS flex...
And so, just for you, a pic from my last outing:

My IFS rig, flexing front and rear on an obstacle.

i dont mind showing front and rear flex of a IFS. but when people post single pictures of just the rear is point less. we all know what a rear solid axle can do. it doesnt take much to have alot of flex in the rear. i really what to see what people have done to get more flex out of the front. guess it doesnt really matter what i say since i didnt start this thread. all my friends have over built SA rigs so i use this thread for ideas on how to improve my IFS.

It was created and evolved to show IFS tricks tips and mods to get the most out of our front end.
It's been brought up numerous times throughout the thread.
Sure show your rear axle but if you don't get us some good front shots it's sorta pointless.

What's pointless, and bugs me, is griping and berating people who share a few pics that aren't quite from the right angle. Especially newer members and/or offroaders. They are obviously proud of what they and their rig did, as they took a picture and posted it. Keep it positive, or keep it to yourself.

Looks to me like the thread title is "IFS Flex Pics". Huh, look at that, the first post clearly states "post a pic of your IFS rig "crossed up"". I've been following this thread for years, and I don't think I've learned anything about modding my IFS directly from a post made here (I have seen some interesting rigs, and gone searching for a build thread, and learned stuff there). It's just a place to share pics of IFS rigs doing their thing.

You're being over sensitive, I'm not berating you. Take another photo so we can see the front angle too.

1.5" BJ Spacers
2" lift shackles
Used a recipitating saw on my bumps to make then low pro. Worked great too
33-10.50 mounted on 8" M/T
Never touched torsion bars. There still factory set
Next on list is those High Angle BJ's. just dunno we're to get them.
By the way, I have never trimmed anything. My frame was bent and when my buddy straightened it, he pulled my front end forward a extra inch on both sides. My alignment is 100% perfect and I kinda have that SAS look were he moved me forward a little. I love it.

Made the most of it? He is probably showing 7-8" of travel, medium sized tires, and almost no lift! So much more could be done! Instal some long arms and get 12" of travel. Instal a drop bracket kit to get some lift to clear 35s.
