VEry clean, how much did you pick it up for?

I was just back in Oz and picked up a few 4x4 sales mags. Expensive compared to over here.

Was yours around 8k?

believe it or not i picked this up for $1800 and it passed its roadworthy first time.

all bushes perfect, no oil leaks, heaps of power and super super tidy interior!

after i bought her i put new tyres/exhaust/excedy hd clutch/solid flywheel/rebuilt turbo/sidesteps/new rear bumper.

so total cost to get it how its pictured there was $3700 with rego!

only has 225,000km's

i got a good deal on every single part! i still cant believe how good she is!

Wow dude did you ever get a score.

I saw how expensive Yota's are over there and am planning to bring mine back with me. It will be cheaper to ship it and do a driver side swap over starting from scratch.

It's called a "custom-cab"... Done by a company after they left Toyota's hands. They are considered "rare", but I have personally seen 5 within the last few years. Not as rare as Mojave or Trailblazer, but still rare

if i state the fact that its a 5 speed turbo, does that add to the "rarity"?

Ditch the front swaybar and get some LowPro bump stops. That will increase the flex 100%.

I'm running 1.5" BJ spacers, 2" shackles, and diff drop. My flex is pretty awesome for IFS. Oh I'm not running bump stops either lol.

That's pretty decent flex for stock IFS! How does the truck drive without swaybars? Also, where do you buy low pro bump stops? I DD this, so driveability is important

amazon sells them, google them, I think energy suspension is the main manufacturer. I have my front swaybar removed on my 90 4runner, it's my dd and drives fine. I would imagine high speed, rapid turns would be bad.

Don't plan on doing the slalom at 70, so it sounds like I'm fine... lol!

Thanks for the info!
