headlight/tailight issue.
hi all. i got a new xtra cab second gen and when you have it on low beam, its in hi beam. and if you switch it to hi, the lighta flicker like they swiched but its always on hi beam. also when my lights are off my brake lights work, but when i turn my lights on, i think they are on brake light all the time because they dint get brighter when i hit the brakes. anyone ever have issues like this?

Brakes and taillights use separate filaments.
When you hit your brakes, the brake lights (different filament in same bulb) will light.
When you say your lights are on the taillights (red in rear) will come on. If the rear red lights are not getting brighter, possible that your tail light circuit is the problem. Access driver side kick panel, check fuses, check if tail light relay clicks.
Don't just look at fuse, measure resistance.

UPDATE: when i push the brakes with no lights on just one filament lights up, when i turn on my taillights both filaments are on all the time. some help would be greatly appreciated i suck at wiring!
