Head lights problem
Why does my head lights go really dim when im doing bout 20 mph . In a 1986 toyota 4x4 i have the tail lights unhooked.

At least his tail lights are unhooked. For a second I was worried and thought his glovebox bulb might have been bad.

You only have a problem at 20 MPH? then drive faster - LOL!

How about other speeds?
Checked your alternator voltage? Use this:

It routes power directly from your battery to your lights rather than going through the switch... All the swtich does after install is activate the relays.

I had the same problem.

Mine ended up being the contacts in the alternator were WAY worn out. Replaced it, now mine's fine.
