Had an idea, tying to get feedback
This is going to be after my dual cases and all the related stuff (seats, skids, etc, and after I get me a welder and learn)
I want to run 39.5-42in tires on my truck, but its going to be too tall with the 5in springs! So I want to drop down to like 3-4 inch springs, and cut the out of my firewall/fenders and tub it to clear, do you think I would have a problem with the tires rubbing on the frame?? I dont know what width to run, I mean obviously I have time, I just want to get some feedback, both good and bad! Plus Im bored

did you do the IFS widening kit (skys) or running spacers? I would check out the toyota folder here http://pirate4x4.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12
I think you will find a ton of ideas.
good luck, lowering the COG is a good idea

exactly what it sounds like, increases the track width at the front of the truck. You might need to get some rims with a pretty big (or small, whichever puts the wheels farther away from the middle of the truck haah) to keep them from rubbing on the frame

Cause Rob bothers to SEARCH, READ and do his homework.
Go read the FAQ over on Pirate in the Toyota 4Runner forum.
You can't run tires that big without tubbing the firewall and cutting the fenders.
