Gray shifter knob?

Hi guys, I have a 1987 SR5 4Runner with the gray interior. It has the original gray transfer case shift knob, but a crappy aftermarket knob on the transmission shift lever. Are the original gray transmission shifter knobs basically unobtanium? I haven't seen any for sale anywhere. I did find a good photo online:

Maybe used for an arm and a leg price even in crap condition. Saw this 1989 to 2002 that looks much better than the one you have and only $44.

Thanks. Hoping to find an original eventually. Just to be clear the photo isn't of my 4Runner, it's a photo I found online.

Good luck! They’re out there, but finding someone willing to part with one in decent shape isn’t easy. Every once in a while I’ll see a black one for sale on the FB groups, but don’t think I’ve seen a gray, brown, red or blue for sale. The colored transfer case ones seem equally as hard to come by. Congrats on having that one!

there's always the aftermarket if you're not akin to OE
