Exclamation Gas coming out of my exhaust!! HELP

So I did my valve cover gaskets. I have a thread on that. The reason for the new thread is this is an emergency. Ive fixed the leaks i can find. I started the truck and gave it some gas. i looked at the tail pipe and it was dripping with gas. What could case this? the 2 fuel lines i replaced go from the upper intake on the passenger side to the bottom of the power steering pump. If i hooked them up backwards, would this happen? HELP

I'm pretty sure you've got a fuel line mixed up with a vacuum. I did this once and it just pulls fuel into the intake. Re check your lines and dry out the intake.

Good luck.

I pulled the plugs and took off the intake to let it all dry out. I talked to my buddy who is a tech at a honda dealership, he said to get my panties out of a wad. Ill hit it again tomorrow.

I kinda agree with Green93, particularly because you shouldn't be running a fuel line to the power steering pump, that's a vacuum line. There is a fuel return line in the same vicinity on the passenger side of the engine.

I took pictures before dismantling, but I guess I didnt do right. My dad had a 95 runner. The problem is he's 200 miles from here. On his truck the lines to the power steering pump are missing all together.(his truck isnt running right) Ive been searching high and low. I wached a Youtube video where a guy just left all the hoses attached to the plenum and rolled it over. Wow, hind sight is 20-20. Ive gotta get her running again. Im going to keep at it. Any help would be great. Me and my dad are swapping pics via email to try to get this worked out. If you guys could post some pics of this i would owe you one. I broke the EGR modulator and have one coming in the morning. HELP! PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

Scroll down to the bottom of this thread for an excellent photo with labels of where everything should go. In fact, I will be using it myself to double-check my AC-up and PS-up hoses this weekend.

As you can see, #2 is supposed to be the fuel return line. If you plugged in a vacuum hose there, big trouble!

I've got some photos at home that I took before I did a valve adjustment. It might have some more angles/info the other photo doesn't. Just ignore the colors, it was just so I could identify the hoses easier. Here they are:

I also had a couple of problems with the cluster of hoses on the passenger side. I posted this on my thread for situations exactly like this.
Here ya go. hope it helps.

this first picture below was given to me directly from the Toyota Dealership. so rest assured these are the correct locations:

This next picture is off another thread which I found most helpfulto finding out names to parts and a more detailed look at where some vacuum lines go.

Hope this post is helpful to those of you that need it.
