Frame spec
So i was wondering if any body had the frame measurements for 86-88 pickup 4x4, because i found one and im half tempted to see if i cant, put and extended cab on it with maby some modification
and to see how well the bed will fit. ill take any sugestions too because im not quit sure what i might do, but i am thinking of putting a flat bed

just don't ask dumb questions, or at least questions that "self-described" experts would consider dumb. search, search and search lest you be walking the plank... oh, and don't show any elder member up, if you become a member, they get even more riled when a 'newb' knows something they don't.

Its not hard to do. Just cut off the front bed mount. Carefully take of the rear cab mount and weld that where the bedmount was. You'll have to give it a 1.5" body lift at least to clear the regular cab gas tank and the frame crossmember above the t-case. Just check out the pics of my truck to see the finished product. It is well worth the effort.
