http://www.lcengineering.com/Inst/1022027.htm Last paragraph explains the process to insure that it is a non-interfacing engine.
http://race-dezert.com/forum/archive...p/t-43735.html but this says depends on year and piston. But goes on to say that it is still unlikely to happen. But I don't know.
I still say chage time chain and cover. Spin the engine by hand to see if any valves a obviuosly stuck. See if it starts if so tune-up and frequent oil changes maybe a flush. And run it. If it runs you've got less tha a hundred bucks in to it. If you pull the head you have to replace HG and the price starts to increase. If it don't run and you rebuild you already got a new timing chain and cover.

It's got four new plugs, clean oil and fresh antifreeze. Probably all done trying to get it running after it jumped time. So, if the head gaskets gone (which is possible) or the timing cover has warn through, there' no obvious evidence till I get the front end apart.
I've got some old stuff I need to get sold on ebay and then I'm going start in in the engine. I'll post some progress picks, for those with strong constitutions.
