Pinion seal, drain or fill plug and axle seal......or hole in housing.
Sounds like the pinion seal if it's getting flung.

I'd get under there and shake the pinion flange, should be zero up and down or side to side movement.
If it's got movement the flange nut may have gotten backed off, crush sleeve got more crushed, or pinion bearing toast (doesn't take much leaking to starve the pinion bearing of lube.)
If it's coming from the pinon it could be as simple as the breather being plugged too. Worth checking out.

Fair point and very true.

Why didn't they ask for the 4th injector?

Ok well then if the vehicle expenses are not as severe, I would be just as interested in some new shop equipment. I am really eyeballing a shop press, a 6 ton from harbor freight. I feel like a shop press may be something that I will find a use for again and again and it will allow me to take care of just about all aspects of my own vehicle. Any sense in it?
