They are most likely 4.10s. This was the most common for this year.

You can decipher it from the codes in the door jamb. Search for "diff codes" I think is how I find it.

Basically, it depends on what tires/tranny you have. For example, if your truck had 31's stock it has 4.56 if manual, 4.88 if auto

Get the code from the door sticker and look here
http://www.off-road.com/toyota/tech/other/4_axles.html

Or jack up one rear wheel, turn it 2 revolutions and count the number or revolutions the drive shaft makes.

That is a good way to tell, but you will have to divide your answer by 2. Jack it up, put a mark on the driveshaft, and one on the tire. Have somebody turn the tire exactly twice while you see how many times the driveshaft went around.
About 8 1/4 turns of the driveshaft = 4.10 gears
About 9 = 4.56
About 9 3/4 = 4.88

Ok....I have been doing some research and need some second opinions here. I found this gearing chart for toyotas online and was looking up my VIN info for it. The gearing portion of my VIN is H505 which according to this chart =
9" Ring, 3.40 ratio, 4 pinion limited slip.

Could this be right?

Here is the link for the chart i used.....

Look on your Door Jam. It will have a little lable that says "A/TM" and then the following numbers:

If it says "G294" you have 4.10's
If it says "G254" you have 4.56's

I'm not sure what the 4.88's are off of the top of my head. According to the link it would be "G144"

Let us know what it says...

OK...so I am a dumbass. After reading the instructions for the chart I was not supposed to use the VIN but get the info code off the data plate. That info gave me G282 which =
8", 4.30, 2 pinion open

Sorry for being such a noob

No. Spinning only one wheel takes care of that. Spinning both wheels one revolution or one wheel two revolutions will give the same answer.
