best way to fill in the cracks in my dashboard?

I didn't even know they made dash caps for 4runners. Thanks t-saurus!! That is pretty sweet. The inside of my runner is perfect except for the cracked dash (like every 4runner).

just a FYI. i bought one of these covers from that azbob guy for another car of mine and it warped and got all distorted from the heat of the sun. looked worse then the stock dash did with the cracks.

there was a tutorial on here a while back where someone used a heatgun and melted the vinyl back together.
or something like that.
it looked okay.
wasnt bad, but you could noticeably tell.

fixed all the cracks in my dash with a cover from Advance Auto Parts

even had it engraved












But I've never seen a filler type stuff. Even if you did just fill it, it wouldn't look "factory"; you'd have to match the texture of the dash, match the color, and everything... I'd either just cover it, or try to find an entire new (or good-shape used) dash cap
