Clutches
I have a dilemma here I have a 3.0 4runner after having done a search on cluthces on the site I have even more questions about which clutch I should use. Right now I have a Centerforce dual Friction but it seems to need replacing more often than a stock clutch. I tow a 14' alummnium fish boat and camping gear every other weekend as well as off road from easy to mod trails. What do you guys recommend for my truck. I like the way the Centerforce works but the Warranty sucks. The reason all this came about less than 9 months after having a rebuild done on my tranny is it's damn hard to put it in first when sitting still and grinds going into reverse after waiting a few seconds to put it in gear. The shops says it's a clutch problem

Shift ball
Just put in a new Napa Clutch. Made in China wouldn't you know. Seems to work fine. The pressure plate was made in China also but the steel for it came out of Germany. Where do you get a shift ball? Dealer item only or wrecking yard? Mine is a little stiff going into first as well. Clutch works fine.
