What heat shielding did you use on the firewall?
I'm at about the 90% done mark with my 3rz swap in my '94 and exhaust stuff is one of the few things left. Wish I could do the egr delete because it's really close to the heater control valve but it will have to pass smog tests for now.

 

the first stuff i bought ended up not working out well (see one of the pics above with an empty engine bay). it started peeling off a few days later. i ordered some aluminum backed fiberglass heat shielding that was more designed for engine bay firewalls. evidently the first stuff was more for floor boards, so watch out for that. the new stuff that worked well was 6mm thick i believe.

 

What would a jem like this go for if i was to sell it?

Two 12” kenworth subs wrapped custom box in the closest blue to match interior. What are your thoughts?


Looking into rear and front looking differentials, is that a bad idea? Has any one got any info on that ????

 

probably best to make your own thread for this post. but if youre asking me personally, i dont see why you would spend thousands of dollars on lockers if youre selling the truck. also, sound systems and cosmetic mods dont really add to the value. its hard to gage value anymore, some idiots are paying upwards of 20k for 2500 dollar trucks. if i were selling this truck id start a listing at 7k and see where it goes.
