Bolt snapped! HELP!

Bolt snapped! HELP!
I was redoing this gasket when I accidentally overtightened upon completion. The bolt that is circled snapped off and unlike the front one doesn't seem to be able to be removed? Unless I am doing it wrong? I was hoping that someone else may possibly have gone through a similar mistake or repaired this and known how to remove the bolt... If not, what is the best way to keep the area secured once the gasket cures?
Thanks....
Thanks....

Not for sure but I'd think if the front bolt comes out the back would too. Did it break off flush? Or is it just broke off on the top? I think it is threaded into the other end.

To be more clear, it broke at the center of the stud, where the nut would stop after being tightened... not all the way down to the base.

Get some good penetrating oil Kroil if you can .
Soak it good over night perhaps spray it before you go to bed or after you come home
If you can get it out your fine and good to go.
Work it to the right first then to the left don`t get real crazy steel in aluminum always corrodes .
If you do have it break off be careful drilling it out drill bits love to drift into the soft aluminum.
Use the thread insert of your choice M8x1.25 thread
thermostat bolts break all the time
