Blinkers and OD
My 10 amp blinker fuse keeps on blowing and it's taking out overdrive when it does. Is there anything in common with these 2 circuits? Most of the time it pops the fuse as soon as acc are powered on. It pops without using anything at all. Any suggestions?

By "Blinker" fuse, I assume you mean "Turn" fuse. http://web.archive.org/web/201204170.../2powersou.pdf I can't find any connection between that fuse and the Automatic Transmission in my EWD. The ACC position only powers the Radio and Cig fuse, so I am at a loss to explain how that could blow the Turn fuse.
"Most of the time" suggests you have an intermittent short somewhere; the wire is getting jiggled and shorting to ground. (but not all the time).
To save on buying fuses, a gadget like this might help you find the short. https://www.harborfreight.com/automo...ter-67724.html OR, you could just replace the fuse with a 12v test light; with the radio off (the clock won't pull enough current to light the bulb), when the light comes on you've got a short.

Ok update on my situation. After disconnecting the plug that goes from the steering column to the fuse board by the kick panel, the fuse stopped blowing. It seems its the combination switch which contains the blinker handle and gear handle, correct?

MAkes sense to me! Figure out what wires need to touch, then do it, verify emergency blinker/flasher operation, put new switch in!
