Hmm, I wonder about the paint on the PS cooler. It should be hidden by the grill from most view angles. Will it hold up? Will it effect the cooling?

Looking great man keep at it!

They said it's was only a small coat of paint they put on so it shouldn't effect anything.

Will try to keep you guys posted as much as I can. Next week should be a very busy week for me. Hopefully everything goes as planned and nothing gets blown up. This will be the very first time I am putting a motor back together.

Fingers Crossed

Stay tuned

Looks awesome. Can't wait to do another project myself. If you need mirrors you have to go on eBay search for vintage pickup truck swing out mirrors

It took some searching and asking around but was pointed to the JD Whitney site.

Paint those black and should check that off the list.

Well APW screwed up my order for injectors again. Tired of dealing with that ****!

I just called the toyota dealership and the chick quotes me $211 per injector!

Any other place do you recommend? Brand?

I was thinking Oreilly auto parts since they are up the street from me but i'm open to suggestions.

My torque wrench start at 10lbs.

It should be o.k to torque the 9s at 10, yes?

What about the water pump? For The 6lbs, whats the best explanation for tightening?
