Rusted bolts put a toll on me getting off. I managed to get the rear bumper off and gave up putting on the rear. Either it wont fit, or this thing is gonna be tight.
Til I find some help.

**Update 03/24/2012
I'm almost done cleaning/repainting the interior.
-Dash, console painted and installed
-New Carpet installed. I ordered with the mass backing and it was so hard to cut and install. I ended up triming a bit too much around the shifter. I'm not about to toss it and buy another carpet. So some glue and the extra pieces helped add that "ghetto" flavor to the view.
*have to clean/paint the seats
*door panels are next for painting maybe dying (bottom part)
QUESTIONS
1_What type of screws actually hold the steering colume covers together?
2_Is there a protective paint I can use for the dash? This stuff scratched pretty easy when I was reinstalling everyhing (use duplicolor vinyl paint)

Regarding the steering column surround screws.. I think theres two or three machine screws that hold the bottom piece to the bottom of the steering column, and then theres 3 course plastic screws that hold the upper piece to the lower piece.

Looking for the 4 that hold the upper and lower pieces together. Is there a particular name/size so when I go to the store i'll know exactly what i'm looking for?

Hey, if you want to complement this truck, I just saw this today while walking our dog downtown:

Looks sharp in person, if you can stomach the automatic and non-original wheels

Here's an update on what's going on. Next rebuild the motor and take the rig for it's final step. GOOD BYE MONEY!

Finishing it next Friday.
That rhino liner looks great.

Actually there is some debate to be said about that. In BTTF 1 & 3 you would be correct. Look closely at the garage scene at the BEGINNING of 2. Not the end of 1, but the beginning of 2. These takes are different because of Jennifer's replacement (Elizabeth Shoe) in the second movie.
The Toyota truck in the second movie's beginnign scene has NO vent windows, the KC light covers are missing, and the front end is IFS.
Yes... I am a nerd

Is the axle not sticking out as much as the others in the wheels.
I'm not sure.

Well I changed my mind again if anyone noticed. BTTF is back!

Right now I'm waiting to get the bay painted (for now) and in the process of taking the motor to a machine shop.
