no offence, but you need to educate your self on how an exhaust system effects power and fuel economy... you are extremely simplifying the process..

so for a simple answer, get a LCengineering full exhaust system.

Ya, generally speaking, a more free flowing exhaust system allows the engine to breathe easier, thus enhancing the engine's efficiency.

There is more to it than just adding bigger pipe if you want to really see any difference. youll want headers, high flow cat and muffler. along with at least an intake and some throttle body tweaks.

x2 on the exhaust shop.

If you have a 22r and looking for power you have the wrong truck. You can get a tad bit of improvment by adding headers but otherwise..... not really

get an aftermarket muffler from an exhaust shop and get like 2 or 2.25 inch piping and you will be set. exhaust shops do exhaust wayyyy cheaper than if you were to buy a bolt on kit like lcengineering.. which is actually just a magnaflow muffler.

Most street engines do not respond very well to oversized exhaust pipe systems. For a 22r just by what i've seen going total straight pipe is not a good way to go and the engine will run somewhat nervously. Atleast having a muffler will help prevent this. Its a 4cyl truck 4x4 what do you want?

I've never owned a vehicle that didn't respond wonderfully to 2.5" pipe and a 40 series Flowmaster

^^^ true, MAK the guy with the amazing sounding 4 runner took out his cat and put in a straight pipe, sounded louder but he had no backpressure, i would never risk that much back pressure for sound. so dont straight pipe or anything like that.

your stock pipe is proly 1.75. I went with a 2.5 pipe into a magnaflow stainless, and then my outpipe is 2.75, power band went up nicely, especially from 1st to 3rd gears. Not to mention a nicely heftier sound to it...
