A340H Transmission Electronics Question

Hi guys I recently picked up a used but rebuilt A340H trans.

The photos are from the back driver side of the trans.

The wiring is a little shotty though, I'm trying to figure out why the main wiring loom lacks the turquoise wire for the loose wire to the Number 2 Speed Sensor.

Also is the connector with the retrofitted blue tape correct?

Thanks

Also is the wiring compatible with a 1994 A340H without modifications?

Do you know what year and machine it came from? I have most EWD to check pinouts/colors. Also what are you installing it in, kind of critical info to really dig into details.

I'm not sure of the original donor trans vehicle, on the donor A340H trans id plate it says "93C 3D020 01863", and its going into a 1993 SR5 V6 Auto 4x4 4runner

Thankyou ATC

Here's the wire diagram for your machine so you atleast know what the wires on your truck are for. The diagrams are not the funnest to try to follow, but it's not too bad once you get used to them. The circled "A" next the 3VZ by the ECU for example is connector E3 and the little number by where the wire hits the box is what pin it's located in.

The A340 trans came in a lot of applications but if you could narrow it down to like a pickup/4runner vs anything I might be able to dig up some info. I'd need a clear photo of the wires connected and what the connector looks like to find a diagram that matches the pin out. Maybe it's as simple as the 4cyl vs v6 pin out.
