ights guys. Been looking around for an auto trans for my 1987 4runner sr5 turbo. My a340h on it has no backup gear. Been looking around for a good used one so i can go off roading. So question? Found ah trans (a340h) off a 1985 4runner 4x4. Does anyone know if it will plug and ply on my 87 turbo runner? Do they use the same trans or are they different? and they are asking 450$ for the trans and t-case. Is this a go go go! Or ah no no no. Some one help?

got her running guys. Everything was easy other then alilo change. Like the front drive shaft were the t-case connects too the front drive shaft, that needed too be shaved plus the cross mount bar n mount so the elbows i guess can clear, if you guys know what i'm talking about. Also other small custom things like the 88 4runner trans i was putting in had ah shorter harness so i had too extend the wires too fit the stock harness that was like ah foot too short. Working on ah trans flush right now, with the next few months gonna be working in new oil and end it with ah new filter. Everything is going well now guyS. O yeaH!
