hope this link works

http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/...gle+Base&fp=pp

$73 to my door. comes with all the correct welds and bends and hangers. 2 bolts and a donut gasket and you're good to go.

even if it only lasts a year, it's easy enough to switch out. i feel like i should buy 3 more and stock-pile them for later.

went out last night and lit the plate light again.....meh...not sure i like it, kinda harsh lighting....but it keeps me legal.

have to do the wiring for it now, i was lighting it using the charger. then it's time to sand some bondo and paint and i'm good enough to get inspected. have to check those bell cranks to make sure they are free moving.

Ahhh, ok.... I guess, yah, .... just got thrown by the "worn weird" portion, I guess. They're about 150$ each, new?

I found some like that at my yard, but they had too much dryrot..... 40$ each, Wrangler Mud Tires on Toyota Wheels, 32x11.50.... I was bummed they were too messed up! lol.

I hear ya, Jerry.... I'm battling over things I need, and can't even find them(seats, etc., lol)

yes. the boys and I can cover that place in about 30 minutes.

you should check out Merchant's Village at the former Wal-Mart in Pittston. Been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks so far. Ammo-Boxes galore.

$8 for the one Joe has as his console (clean inside but kinda hammered on the outside)
$5 for sturdy plastic ones that were also for night vision that open like a suitcase and are like 12'' x 6 '' x 10''
$4 for .30cal boxes

found a Jerry can for $15 yesterday......pretty rough shape, would never put fuel or water in it....but new one at Harbor Freight is like $39. don't need one anyway.

car show is at the Hunlock Creek school. if my truck was done, I would have put both of them in and encouraged you and the locals to put their TOYs in too and we could have had the corner on the REAL 4wd's category.

hmmm I might just go up there, didn't know anything was there. I can use a new waterproof junk yard tool box for the back of my truck. The two plastic ones I have back there are ruining my tools lol.

good stuff there. depends what you are looking for. those suitcase type ones are darn sturdy and for $5, you can't go wrong. and for $8, those big ones are good too.

Yeah I have a big one too, I use it for my sleeping bag and pillow. Hmmm that didn't sound right, oh well. I had two medium sized ones as well, but one I think might have gotten swiped from my truck. Not sure what I had in that one, wasn't much though and the other one has my extra nuts/bolts in it. Then I got a smaller one for my strap.

and then this.....

to this

of course, I don't think I could have picked a more humid day to do this. since I also do inside the door and door-sill, it's currently sitting in the garage with it's door open to hopefully be dry tomorrow.
