wahoo...truck passed inspection. just drove it home. I think the left rear is a bit low....kinda hard to tell with these tires, but I'm gonna check it. that would definitely account for it pulling left.

forgot what a dog this thing is.....definite power difference between mine and Joe's.

Congrats.. I seen the news and you guys have a chance of snow. Dont know if it is going to amount to anything. Just in time to may need it. Seen you had 4 cars and 2 were down. Now you should be just one down.

Hadnt seen you on here in awhile and knew you were busy. Lots of good news lately. Great job.

thanks...yeah...was waiting for the finances and opportunity to match-up.

expecting snow.....meh....so much to do, i think I'll cut grass in the snow...hehehehehe

Joe's 4runner handles like a dream compared to my truck....mostly because of tires, but my truck is definitely has stiffer suspension.

new exhaust system for $90....awesome.

new bumper and fabbed license plate bracket and light....awesome

cleaned up and painted underside of truck....awesome.

new door...aweseome

booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

well....got done messing with Joe's exhaust (yay) and figured we'd check the air pressure in the tires since it appeared that my left rear was a bit low, which may account for it pulling to the left.

front right...36psi
rear right.... 36 psi

left front 32 psi
left rear 20psi

aired-up, took it for a ride....no better

came home, engaged the e-brake a few times and hit the arms with a sledge to be certain they disengaged....since i only use it once a year.

took it for a ride, no bueno....now i smell brakes.

jacked up the front end.......left front unable to be moved by hand......right side moves well.

so my left front is locked on.

remedies besides new stuff?

yup, take caliper off and see what's holding up the pistons. Most likely rust. lol.

I had to basically rebuild mine when I did my brakes last. Took it apart, took the pistons off, used some emery cloth on the cylinders and put it all back together.

Not sure if I will have the gas to get down there or not.
If I do go it's either got to be early, I got to be back by 3pm up here to pick up the kiddo,
or I have to go down after girlfriend comes home from work at 5pm.

OK....for the heck of it, just checked NAPA for left and right caliper sets complete w/ pads and hardware. $154 each.....not including shipping.

so, if this crap can't be taken apart and personally rebuilt by me and Brandon....this truck is officially DONE until about February or so when I get the income tax refund.

bull crap on this!!

$42 a piece remanned from autozone. plus your core charge. You have brake fluid right?

I highly recommend getting these as well. Especially if those have never been off. I trashed mine taking mine off. Gonna need 4 pins total (2 sets)

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par.../N-ix0tlZ8knjf

I'm also showing these at napa CAL N1792 & CAL N1791

$81.66 /ea
At Warehouse
Call for Details
(includes $41.67 core value)

Making them $40 a piece. Not sure on warranty but the AZ ones have a lifetime.

And that $154.19 /ea you found are actually $71.50 a piece.
At Warehouse
Call for Details
(includes $82.50 core value)
