OCD can be quite helpful sometimes.

went to my box of parts from the tear-down and there it was laying there (the used one) and so that is what is going on there

Ted also responded.....he's awesome.

he said, individually would be a tough one to find there and suggested getting some bulk high-temp gasket material and fabbing my own.

thank you Mark.

OK...getting my butt kicked trying to line up with that REED valve.........grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

over an hour of struggling so far and still can't get it to line up.....grrrrrrrrrr

taking a much needed break.

PICS

No matter what amount of prying and wedging i do, i can't get the bolts to hit the holes......i have the valve itself loose and can pry around the tube only sooooo much.

Just gotta loosen some stuff up and wiggle about a bit and she'll go. Try standing on you left foot while balancing a cup of coffee on your right knee and (this is important) turn the screw with you left hand using a wrench made out of tin foil.

alerady done, but ya forgot about the smoke hanging out of the mouth and the camera in the other hand.....it looked like i was working on my truck with chop-sticks because i had the 4 foot breaker bar in one hand and a crow bar in the other and the a block of wood, a mirror (worthless) and vice grips.

it's not that i'm not trying hard enough.....might be i'm trying too hard.

"Luke , don't force it.........."
