My plans for the rest of the day, to the disapproval of the wife, is to torque the lower intake manifold, hook up my injectors and fuel line. also to install my cold start injector.

I'd just leave the mount alone...what's it gonna hurt. Not like it's going to make you turn backwards...

technically, 1 the hyndai, the two fords rusted away as usual, the cavalier needed much work and for what paid for the BMW it got scrapped too. THe Chevy c20 got towed by a "friend" while in the military in Hawaii and he didn't want to pay for the towing fee and I at the time didn't have the money either, so it got "repo'd" by the towing company. The Grand am was the ex wifes in which she also got towed while on a navy base. I refused to pay for it. BOth towing fees were around $250 if I remember right. THe celica was my frist car before I really started working on vehicles. Had a bunch of wiring gremlins and also needed a fuel pump. That got scrapped too, which I still look back on that and if I knew then what I know now, well...... Now the Hyundai that was my mistake not checking a nitrous line when working on the system and the nitrous jet fell out and I blew it up with a 300 shot nitrous dump on the next run, rebuilt the motor but failed to check the crank and it spun a bearing because of what I think was a bent crank. We let that one get repo'd. Technically the ex wifes car.

Gonna have to change my sig, not the first one to mention it. haha.

I actually had plans for the two bronco(ii)'s but the code officer tagge both for removal. BTW code officers here are a holes when it comes to vehicles on properties. My plans were to swap over the drivetrain, motor etc from the big bronco to the bronco II, but when I noticed the body was sitting on the frame of the bronco II I decided against it. I was then gonna part out the full size, that's when they got tagged to remove or be towed. so I sold them to a scrap yard.

I Really don't have room to talk...I think the parts truck (if you want to count it) is #18 or #19 that I've had in the past years...Few have been totaled but most were resold for at least a small profit.

those 9 cars are over the past 10 years. With the exception of the Celica. In which I had in high school. I had the grand am (paid $1500)and the C20 (paid $1750) at the same time, then the grand am and the Hyundai (bought new off the lot) at the same time, moved to Texas from Hawaii and had the Hyundai and an 82 Cutlass which is not listed. I bought that car for $100 and put about $300 into it to rebuild and machine the head to get it running. had that car for a while in texas and drove that same car from texas back home here and had that another year before I let the motor sieze up. (rod bearing) I then bought the Full size Bronco (paid $500). Till the body was too bad to get inspected and found the Bronco II for $250. Drove that for over a year. The girlfiend bought the Cavalier for $1000 after she kept having problems with her 94 cherokee sport 2 door. She had that car for almost 2 years. We found the BMW for $750 from the original owner and needed a complete cooling system because of an overheat and busted radiator. $500 more in parts and it was on the road. I bought this yota to replace the bronco II for $1000. drove it for a year and spun a bearing and rebuilt the motor recently. We have had the BMW for almost a year now. Notice the cars that I spent the less amount of money on initially have lasted longer. HAHAHA.

lol, geez man

I've only totally ruined one of mine; my first truck, an Izusu Pickup; popped a HG, repaired that, then threw a rod through the block

the rest were in good enough shape to sell or trade in, but I've only been behind the wheel for 8 years, being 23 and all

When you spend less than a grand on a vehicle hard to resell it. I'd probably get about $4000 for the BMW right now though at least. Only have about $2000 into it. $750 + $500 + $300 for upper and lower control arms + $500 for Bilstien HD shocks.

haha, the only one I've ever paid less than a grand for was the Jeep an 88 Cherokee that I picked up from a friend of my mothers; she had it sitting beside her house under a tree just rotting. I got it for $200, trailered it home, fixed the overheating problem (just took the thermostat out and replaced the cracked overflow tank, LOL), washed it (it had a flipp'n layer of mold and mildew on it from sitting uner a tree for god knows how long), and after washing it, it had an AWESOME paint job under it still. I beat the hell out of that thing, and the 4.0l in-line 6 started to get unhappy... stopped making oil pressure... dropped the oil pan to find out that in the midst of my crazy pissed-off teenager driving I broke free 260k miles of motor neglect from the crank case and it sucked it up into the pickup tube, lmao. Then one night I was driving in the rain, the the electronics behind the dash shorted out and smoke started pouring from the dash killed the lights, wipers, radio, pretty much everything but the motor, lol. So I "rigged" it to work again, and took it to the dealership the next day and traded it for a 2000 Mustang but, I got $1000 for the Jeep, so I turned a profit

Somehow I made out even with the bronco II, I bought it for $250 with a full tank of gas. Maybe $45-50 worth. The scrap yard bought it from me for $200.

talk about an epic hijack haha sorry Jerry.
