Signal lights will not work if the hazard light switch isn't plugged in FYI. All the signals run through that switch.

And just a hint for next time: I have that same engine stand, and had problems getting my transmission bolts to thread through it. So, I took a hacksaw, and cut down the mounts on the stand an inch. Works great now

Nice paint job too. I'm hoping to re-do my truck like that next year.

I MADE IT!!!!
Took me 2 days but i got here no real trouble about 600 miles in my alternator belt came loose and i had to stop and tighten it back up with a pry bar. Ill have to take a pic in front of a palm tree to prove im back. i would say the first 300miles i took it real easy 55mph-65mph after that it was 70-75 the the majority after that by the time i got to florida tho i was so excited i started following a lexas and stoped paying close attention and hit 95mph for a little while but ran awesome the whole way! IM PROUD!!!

great looking truck!
I just rebuilt the 3.0 on my 4runner so I know how frustrating it can be!
try not to let it overheat and it will last you forever

Big update!!!!!!!!!!

Alright i think i left off on my way home from michigan? Well ill do a quick catch up till we get to today.. i drove it home 80 mph 1246 miles and only had 1 small issue the altinator got a little loose when i got to georgia so the belt was slipping not a problem tho had some tools hoped out fixed it real quick then got it home to FL.... 3-4 months later a valve cover leak developed on both sides leaked like a SOB..clutch slave cylender went bad 2 times i think beacuse of the oil leak and oil and dirt and mudd getting all up in it.. starter went bad 6 months after the build and i am now replacing the clutch. motor still runs strong starts every day and i take this thing BOGGIN! lakes rivers mudd holes ect... the ol yota has had a rough 12 months since the build... thats a quick version to sum up the past 12 months... about a month ago i decided to do a SAS and go with 38s then about 2 weeks after i sent it back to the shop and i have a HUGE list of things that just got done to the ol yota... and it still wont be finished for another week so stay tuned ill post some info and pics i have at the moment tonight and ill add the rest throught the week! its going to be fun!!!

Hey, where you at in Florida?

Truck looks great, and on the SAS, you use a kit or build it yourself?

I'm doing engine swap first before I do the SAS, about to put my LC coils on the back of my 4Runner and my 2inch BJ spacers to tide me over till then then I'll go big like you

What gears did you end up with? 5:29"s or higher?
