just beacuse i kinda agree with you guys i had the t case redone a little we took some of the diper off the bottom and it saved me about 3 inches.. so it came up a little higher and made it a little tighter to the truck now a whole lot but evey bit counts i guess. and thank you all for your comments. i apreciate it!

hmmm, I'll have to see; my sister like's going to those events; she actually introduced me to Truck's Gone Wild

I might have to try and work that in; I didn't know that was going on this weekend!

I wont have my Toy unless my alternator comes in this week... but I'll be able to watch You going to be playing with yours there?

well I bought this 130amp alternator out of Cali, and I had to send it back to be waranty exchanged...

I'm going to try to get in touch with these people tomorrow and see what the deal is... I might just be putting the stocker back in the truck temporarily so I can drive the darn thing

yeah she's seen pleny of action in woods in the past, but that's how I tore the truck up anc had to do all the rebuilds I've been doing, lol

well it's been working great for the last 8 months or so, and then all of a sudden one morning is started overcharging, at like 19 volts

I got it because of the electric fan, the 1000wat stereo, the lights that will be going on the front bumper (when it comes in), and the winch in the new future for that bumper as well

I got it online for like $100 iirc, out of California

honestly, I'd look into a GM swap... if this alternator goes out again, that's what I'm doing...

I just dont think these small ND alternators were made to put out a lot of amps, and be reliable at the same time...

but yeah if this one goes out again, it'll be pass it's waranty, and I'll just fab up a bracket and mount a GM one wire up, and you can get those things anywhere

Oh I never said I didn't like it. But I would make it more versatile than just mud. Even if you don't have rocks. What if you move? Or you go offroading where there is rocks? Thats what I would have asked myself if I were in your position.

But I do love the looks of your truck. I think its pretty bad ass.

look man i didnt call anyone dumb everyone likes there own little things but ill take pictures for you and you tell me how you would set this up better? it could possibly get clocked up about 3 more inches but it would put the front drive shaft just a tad under my original toyota cross member. i dont know why its so low all i know is it works and i intend on lifting the truck another 8-10 inches sometime next year and run my set of 2 1/2 ton axles under it with 49 inch "V" treads. its set up for alot more than is on it now. I would have done it this time around seeing at i have all the parts laying in the garage but i still drive the thing every day and until i buy my diesel to pull it to the mudd hole this is kinda what im stuck with... On a better not i took this truck ROMPING last night double 4 low is insane! i was boggin in 4th and 5th gear! had tons of wheel spin it was nasty!
